- Converting instructions/orders to reported speech (told/ordered + to-infinitive)
The method
- Instruction/order → subject + told/ordered + object + to-infinitive, dropping the imperative form
The common mistakes
- Using a that-clause instead of the to-infinitive after told/ordered
