The Oustad platform offers two ways to delete your account: from inside the app or the website, or by sending a request by email.
1. Deleting from inside the app or the website
Open the account tab, labelled « حسابي », scroll to the bottom and tap the delete button « احذف حسابي », then type the word حذف to confirm. The same steps apply on the website platform.oustad.app. The platform interface is in Arabic.
2. Deleting by email
Send a message from the email address registered on the account to wassdzouaoui@gmail.com, with "Account deletion" as the subject. Requests are handled within 30 days at most.
3. The data that is deleted
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Date of birth
- Name of the school
Every link between the parent account and the student account is also broken, and the account is deactivated, so it can no longer be used to sign in.
4. The data we keep and why
We keep the accounting and invoicing documents relating to subscriptions, because Algerian commercial and tax law requires it. As for the learning activity records, we keep them in a form that cannot be linked back to you.
5. Warning
Deleting the account cannot be undone. The value of an active subscription is not refunded.
